When a National Retailer needed to ramp up in store orders for the holiday season they decided that Kiosks could add the additional ordering capacity they needed. With just 60 days left until the beginning of peak holiday season, they needed to deploy their Kiosk solution to meet customer ordering demand. Each Kiosk would have a unique location in each store that was decided based on available space and retail volume. The Marketing, Facility Management, and IT Management decided to leave placement of the Kiosk to the discretion of store management.

Consult with Customer to develop a Fast Track Solution.
Since each Kiosk would have a unique location in each store Source One consulted with the customer to develop a set of prerequisite requirements and communication plan for notifying store management of the physical space and power requirements so they could allocate the space for the Kiosk.
Furnish Material: TIA Certified Category 5 Cable, CAT 5 B Jacks, and stocked to installation team.
Installation: Assured that electrical and data cable conduit is not intermingled. Inspected power pole and power receptacle.
Cable was pulled in existing conduit to multi channel power pole. Terminated at far end to jack and near end to patch panel. Cable was tagged to identify usage for the Kiosk.
Cable tested for TIA compliance and results recorded to customer database for future reporting.
Project completed with full reporting on services time stamp (start/stop), arrive/depart and photo documentation.
